Sign in with Google

Claude will redirect you to Google sign-in. Use the same email tied to your EZ@Work account. Approve the EZ@Work scopes, and you're connected.

Start a chat

Open any conversation and just ask. Try: "List my top 5 clients by invoice volume".

Restart Claude Desktop

On first use, Claude Desktop opens a browser tab for Google sign-in. Approve, and tools become available.

Add the MCP server

From any terminal:

Authenticate

Launch claude, then run /mcp. Select ezatwork and follow the Google sign-in flow.

EZ@Work doesn't share, train, or expose your business data. The connector uses standards-based OAuth — same as your bank.

Claude never sees your password. Authentication happens via Google sign-in tied to your EZ@Work account. Tokens are short-lived and rotated automatically.

The connector only requests the scopes it needs (clients, projects, invoices, time). Read-only or read/write — your call. Revoke anytime from /settings/api-tokens.

Common questions.

Do I need a paid Claude subscription?

No — the connector works with any Claude.ai plan, including free. (Claude.ai's connector feature itself may require Pro for some accounts — check Anthropic's pricing.)

Do I need a paid EZ@Work subscription?

No — the connector works on the free Starter plan. Free-tier limits still apply (3 clients, 10 invoices/month). Upgrade to Professional for unlimited usage.

Which Claude products are supported?

Claude.ai (web), Claude Desktop (macOS, Windows, Linux), and Claude Code (CLI). Any MCP-compatible client should work — including Cursor, Cline, and MCP Inspector.

Does Anthropic see my business data?

Only the data you ask Claude to act on — the same as when you copy-paste text into a Claude chat. Your data isn't used to train Anthropic's models when you use a connector. See privacy.anthropic.com for full details.

How do I revoke access?

Sign in to EZ@Work → /settings/api-tokens → click Revoke. Or disconnect the connector inside Claude.ai. Either action immediately cuts off Claude's access.

Can I use this for multiple EZ@Work accounts?

Yes — the OAuth flow identifies the account by the Google email you sign in with. Switch Google accounts in Claude's connector settings to access different EZ@Work workspaces.

What about other AI tools like Gemini or ChatGPT?

The MCP standard is supported by Claude today; broader adoption is expected. The same EZ@Work endpoint will work with any MCP-compatible client without changes on our end.
